The Shanghai World Expo 2010 event is a good reminder that nations enrich one another through their diversity of history & culture. For the case of China, there is much to be proud about thousands of years of Chinese culture inspiring fashion, martial arts, calligraphy, cuisine and opera worldwide.

For socio-cultural architecture design such as that required for opera houses, concert halls and museums, we think modern design should enhance the traditional – certainly not replace it.
