Often, traditional culture is overlooked for the seemingly more glamorous modern skyscrapers and business centers. The Shanghai World Expo 2010 event is a good reminder that nations enrich one another through their diversity of history & culture. For the case of China, there is much to be proud about thousands of years of Chinese culture inspiring fashion, martial arts, calligraphy, cuisine and opera worldwide.

At logon, we believe that new culture would be overwhelmingly incomplete without integrating and preserving the best of traditional culture. For socio-cultural architecture design such as that required for opera houses, concert halls and museums, we think modern design should enhance the traditional – certainly not replace it.

Brand-new cultural design by logon investigates and extracts the very best of thousands of years of culture, injecting good ideas with the benefits of reduced energy consumption and contemporary conveniences. For existing buildings, we truly embrace their context and location yet boldly befit the facilities with modern accesses and services so that culture can conveniently be integrated back into this century’s lifestyle.

Our cultural design:
• preserves the best of traditional culture
• modernizes the cultural experience
• allows design plans to transformed into a thriving gathering place
