Research has shown that smarter office buildings - those that conserve energy, respect safety design codes, are flexible in floor space, integrate leisure features and those that increase lighting and airflow, show significantly lower vacancy rates. For such benefits, tenants will even pay a premium realizing that such working environments boost staff motivation and productivity. Given such compelling evidence surrounding the benefits to companies, we know it’s critical to work together with clients to create smart design high-rises. In our Yangqiao Public Business Center, we focused on convenience by bringing together several commerce’s and soho apartments as well as master-landscaped water and pedestrian walkways for community and office workers to relax and de-stress. In our own logon designed offices, we have seen that state-of-the-art lighting combined with ergonomic office spaces, little preconfigured space and generous natural lighting is critical elements to providing comfort during sustainable amounts of time.
