Building quality in China – logon Partners deliver keynote speech in Nanjing During a keynote speech on “archiving quality in architecture” at the Guandian conference held in Nanjing on April 26, Mr. Frank Krueger and Ms. Wang Fang partners of the German urban architectural design firm logon highlighted building quality as being the real issue with the real estate market in China. The speech aimed to define architecture quality and how understanding value will lead a better built environment.

Australian Institute of Architects (AusIA) 'Dulux Study Tour’ visits logon office and 800SHOW project The 'Dulux Study Tour’ visited the German urban architecture design office logon and award-winning mixed use project 800SHOW Creative Park on May 6th as part of its’ official tour around the world. Head of logon R&D department logon lab Mr. Pascal Hartmann headed the logon office introduction. The presentation was also attended by logon CEO Ms. Wang Fang and Creative Director Mr. Frank Krueger. The tour ended with a visit to the Shanghai landmark project 800SHOW Creative Park . The tour is a competition run by the Australian Institute of Architects (AusIA) to find the brightest emerging architects who have registered or intend to register as an architect in Australia within the last ten years.

Pascal’s speech entitled “The Green Delusion” attracted an audiences of more than 80 professionals from design and real estate industries. Reinforced by recent data, his speech exposed the limitations of the Green Architecture industry in China as a driver for sustainable design in the mass market where he argued it should rather be based on quality design.
