xi’an 4S automobile city
The Xi’an 4S Automobile City site is located south from the city center close a major highway inside the Xi’an High Tech Development Zone (Xi’an HTDZ). The main function of the site is designed for the high end automo¬bile service industry including showrooms for automo¬bile sales and service also known as 4S (Sales, Spare, Service & Survey) in China.

One of the main challenges of this urban planning proj¬ect was to understanding the Chinese Automobile mar¬ket and then plan a clear concept needed in the West¬ern Chinese city of Xi’an. The goal is not only develop this site into a successful automotive park for the automobile service industry but also kick-off and facilitate the long-term development of surrounding areas in the Xi’an Hi-Tech Development Zone(HTDZ).

The Xi’an 4S Automobile City is designed to be a func¬tional and cultural landmark in the city whist being a model sustainable low-carbon project enhancing environmental and economic performances through management of resources including energy, water and materials. Xi’an 4S Automobile City will be host of mixed-use features in¬cluding: office, commercial, an exhibition centre, training and entertainment.
