Project Architect (international or Chinese national)
location: Shanghai office

The Project Architect acts as a main designer in the project team and works independently to complete assigned tasks.  Primary duties will be competition designs, and generating schematic and design development documents. The Project Architect is able to develop technical/design issues independently, guided by the Project Manager.  As a part of the project team, be involved from preliminary design sketches, working models up to creating texts and presentations.

Experience / Skills required
_ Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning or related field
_ min. 2 years experience
_ team spirit, good communication skills and proactive approach
_ creativity in design, sketching, working models and illustrations
_ ability and experience to work with CAD, office and layout/presentation software
_ prospective candidate should submit samples of design work for qualification

Additional requirements for foreign architects
_ min. 1 year experience in China
_ sincere interest in Chinese Culture and traditions
_ patience in training and working with Chinese colleagues

Additional requirements for Chinese architects
_ ability to communicate in English
_ open to new ideas and working procedures
_ willing and ability to work with foreign (project) architects
_ solid experience in Design Development and Construction Design documents
_ registered architects preferred
